Something you may not know about me [depends how long you'e been around] is that I like antiques and antique fairs. Oswestry at the Park Hall Showground is a regular event for me, with 4 a year, we usually make it to 2. Bargain Hunt often film there too, and we've seen 3 lots of filming over the years. Yesterday we got to see Thomas Plant and Anita Manning filming. We've perhaps become more selective over the years, with a dwindling space in the house to put anything, and so we didn't pick up a lot; but it's something to do, get out of the house for even if we didn't buy anything. It's also an excuse for a Costa when we get back as our railway station has one. Next weekend is Shrewsbury, and I'll be blogging about that one then! P.s. "We" is my mum and me. P.p.s. I am aware of the front page social media buttons being out of whack, this seems to coincide with some blogger dashboard issues that also popped up. I'm waiting for them to update ...

If you've been a bit confused today, I don't blame you, but I thought I'd shove this post in to explain. At the beginning of this year, I thought I'd get back into blogging. And well, 8 months later I've decided to do it again. Because the post was a roundup of books I'd read in January I wanted to "catch up" with all the months so the posts that will be coming give you a much better idea of my book reading this year. There will of course be other things, but writing and publishing the posts as though I'd done them every month has given me time to stretch out the old fingers into typing and the brain into a bit more of a writing gear. We'll see how long I keep this up for. It's not that I don't enjoy blogging, but I find the time I do have, I prefer to do nothing. Quite literally. I mean how can I do book posts, if I don't read? Hmm, anyway. This is a just a heads up and an explanation as to the posts those merry few who still follo...
